My project for the hop is this easy to make Lucky Card! If you have a computer, a few simple embellishments and a corner punch you are good to go!!! Even if you don't have a computer, it is still make easy to make and wonderful to give!

I went hybrid on this and used my computer and some cool fonts to print this. Thjis particular font called Alphabet Bling is from the Design Aglow website. I was able to get two cards on one 8/5x11 sheet of cardstock. After I printed, I cut the corners using the corner punch and added the paper flowers (Prima), making sure to trim away one petal for the four leaf clover look. Then with a black fine pen, I added the stem...Voila!!!

Happy St.Patricks Day!-carrying on a tradition!

 

On the coast where we live,m there is this stretch of major raod that connects Los Osos to Morro Bay. It's really quite beautiful as it takes you right along the inlet bay, where the tides rise and fall to fill the waterways. Well closer to the Los Osos side, drivers are greeted by a might statue of Los Osos....A big Bear. This is a lifesize bronze or some kind of metal bear. Usually every holiday the bear is dressed up to match. So we, The Warner family decided to take it upon ourselves and decorate this bear for today, St. Patricks Day! The girls were so excited and I think we have a new tradition!!!  Along with the leprechauns that came by this morning (will post pics later!), we will now be dressing up Los Osos for all to see!!!

Turning 40 was unique, because it represented a time for refinement and a bit of class....in comes the wine tasting! A far cry from my 21st birthday, with alot of barhopping craziness! Turning 40 was simple and elegant and I enjoyed it and am continuing to enjoy my forties!

On with the celebration!

I wanted to share with you all one of my favorite birthday memories which just happened last year...with the big 4-0!

The journaling reads: The momentus day came when I turned the big 4-0! I am not one for throwing a party for myself, but I do like any reason to celebrate. So we decided to have a nice get together at tour friends home...just the four of us and our kiddos. To my sweet surprise, Trevis arranged for our friend's niece to kidsit wile the four adults went wine tasting! Even though the weather was a bit stormy, it was totally pretty for our little country ride to the vineyards! It was the perfect way to ring in my milestone!
