More summer fun!

It has been great having Jordan, my nephew over. It's interesting having that one more person in the home...and a boy to boot! But all is going well and we are keeping very busy!!! Hope your summer fun is filled too!

Tamra is a big girl now!

Quick post! Busy busy busy day today! Kiddos took it easy in the am but played hard at biking in the evening. So much so that little Tamra tried riding without her training wheels!!!! And she is getting it! These little milestones are huge! So glad I had my camera with me! More to come tomorrow!

BUt alas, my camera was in the shop, and the camera I took with me, I don't have the cables for to unload-argh!! But Erin took these great shots with her iphone (yes, I still want one!) and I hijacked them from fb!!!

Just a day downtown!

The girls and I had a day in Downtown SLO. Good times by the creek and just walking around noticing things! We don't go to often, even though it's only a 20 minute drive, but it's fun to just walk around and "window shop,"- that's where you just look and imagine, instead of spending money!! On this particular trip, we went straight for the creek and due to the gorgeous weather, we hung outside most of the time!

Being sick really sparks the creativity! But as much as I love to create, I hate being sick! I am not a good patient at all! But hopefully this will end by tomorrow! Have a busy week ahead, before the summer can officially begin!

Ikea Love!

I wish I didn't have to drive over five hours either north or south to get to one of my all time favorite stores, IKEA! I love that place! Everytime I go up north, I make it a regular stop, sometimes just to look and get inspiration, and other time to spend a little hard earned money!

This last time I spent on something I have been looking for a long time...a nice big frame.. This is what I finally framed:

I love this digital piece I created over a year ago.It's been hanging in a plastic sleeve on the wall. Finally it has a home!  Here is the original frame...perfect for 12 x 12 layouts!!!!

If you live near and IKEA...oh I I envy you! Of course my pocketbook is happy! Already looking forward to my next trip! Any Great IKEA finds you have to share!! Do Tell!!

Now is she cute or what?

Such a little princess! A day before we came home from vacation we got a call from our neighbor who was watching her that Slider was missing. Not only that, but apparently a different not so neighbor like person called animal control on her earlier that week. But when they came out, they saw that she was well taken care of by our nice neighbor and case closed. As we were then driving home, we got the wonderful call that all was well and another great neighbor had taken her to their home to play and hang with their dogs. Whew! All in all, by the time we got home, we had a dog that could sleep through the night without her "cage,' and was a perfect indoor dog (aside from all the shedded hair~!) She now sleeps in our room at the foot of the bed and hangs out with us inside. She lets us know when she wants out and for the most part is a great dog! She is still very much a puppy, in that she likes to jump, excited by all visitors! And of course she barks...she's a dog! But not to crazy!!!

Our little Slider is becoming quite the family pet! We are very lucky to have her!
